Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team for the summer of 2025. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, benefits administration, and compliance. There may be opportunities to assist with other teams (Legal, Risk & Compliance, and Special Projects) based on capacity. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and passionate about business and human resources. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the Intern Development Program designed to provide access to leaders for mentorship and invaluable opportunities to develop your professional skills

Essential Functions

• Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Support onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement programs and events.
• Assist with HR policy and labor law compliance.
• Conduct research on HR trends and best practices.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of HR concepts and systems (or willingness to learn).
• Prior experience in HR or administrative role is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Location: This is an onsite internship, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, at our Atlanta, GA office, conveniently located near the I-285 and I-75 intersection.
