Job Description

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Infection Preventionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preventing and controlling infections within our healthcare facility.

Duties:

- Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
- Conduct regular infection control risk assessments
- Monitor compliance with infection prevention protocols
- Investigate and report infections within the facility
- Educate staff on infection control measures
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure best practices are followed

Requirements:
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
- Experience in public health, infectious disease care, or occupational health
- Strong data management skills for tracking and analyzing infection data
- Knowledge of acute care, hospital settings, microbiology, and medical terminology
- Understanding of critical care and physiology

Pay: $29.96 - $36.08 per hour
