Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Process Quality Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry . This role plays a crucial part in solving complex problems arising from process/supplier issues and in continuously improving and monitoring quality processes. You will be responsible for implementing solutions under tight deadlines (8D, 5 Why's, 3/5 Panel) and assisting in the timely submission of Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIRs) to our customers.

As a key player in quality management, you will lead a team to drive quality standards across our production processes, ensuring product consistency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quality standards for materials, equipment, and products.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems ; ensure corrective actions are determined and followed through.
  • Monitor, test, and report on the quality of products and processes to meet customer and industry standards.
  • Lead all quality process activities , including daily operations, customer interaction, and product testing.
  • Implement and audit corrective actions to address quality issues; use problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.).
  • Work closely with customers, program management, design teams, and production to ensure the smooth launch of new programs .
  • Resolve customer and supplier quality issues , ensuring they are addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Lead the Top 3 Worst Supplier Strategy and administer RMAs for supplier issues.
  • Perform supplier audits and collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain KPI goals and track quality performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience , managing teams of 30+ people .
  • Expertise in Core Tools (SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP).
  • Strong experience with 5 Phases, Drill, Deep & Wide, and 8-D problem-solving tools .
  • Knowledge of GD&T Drawing and its application in quality processes.
