The Physical Therapist Assistant assists in rehabilitating patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, applying various therapeutic interventions to address physical and developmental disorders. This role includes coordinating a comprehensive rehabilitation program and ensuring communication with other disciplines involved in patient care, all while advocating for the patient’s independence. The position requires an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, a valid license, and encompasses both inpatient and outpatient settings.
