This role will involve supporting the design, assembly, and testing of thermal components at the research and development level with an eye toward manufacturability and commercialization. The individual who fills this position will work closely with us to develop thermal hardware and testbeds and characterize device performance. Candidates should express an eagerness to join a new start-up on the ground floor with an opportunity for leadership and a pathway to vested ownership. TauMat is based in Silver Spring, MD in the Washington DC metro area; the position will initially involve hybrid remote and on-site but will transition to primarily on-site work (with ad-hoc remote work where appropriate) as hardware is developed and as testing capabilities are stood up.
