About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President or Vice President for its Corporate Banking Quality Control Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with Account Officers to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring the timely completion of post-lending management tasks, and maintaining compliance with credit agreements. This role involves a range of activities, including periodic reviews, covenant compliance monitoring, and the coordination of information with various departments. The ideal candidate will also be involved in the continuous update of policies and procedures, establishing best practices, and conducting self-risk assessments for the department. Key responsibilities for this position include playing a pivotal role in the Quality Control Unit, analyzing corporate loan portfolio data for risk monitoring, and contributing to the improvement of business procedures and risk management practices. The role requires collaboration across teams to update risk assessments and coordination with auditors. The candidate will also be expected to prepare reports, train, and coach junior staff on risk policies and procedures. A strong background in risk management, a proactive approach to identifying and addressing risk issues, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for this role.
