Job Description

We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team! Welder Fabricator should be experienced in welding carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum using GMAW and GTAW processes. The ability to fabricate various assemblies from blueprints to specified tolerances with minimal supervision is essential. Proficient in short arc, spray arc, and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Adhere to safety protocols and practices
• Coordinate with other team members as necessary
• Inspect welded joints for quality and adhere to standards
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or specifications
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Perform basic repairs on welding/fabrication equipment
• Perform welding operations using various techniques
• Prepare metal materials for fabrication and welding
• Set up welding equipment and adjust welding parameters
• Use fabrication equipment and tools

Qualifications and Skills

• Vocational or Trade Schools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to accurately align and fit metal components
• Adaptability/learning mindset
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment
• Knowledge of visual inspection techniques
• Metal fabrication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in various welding techniques
