Human Resources Intern

Overview

As a Human Resources Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions while supporting a dynamic and creative team. This role offers exposure to talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within the architecture and design industry.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and screening candidate applications.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
  • Support all sourcing efforts for open positions
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials and ensuring smooth integration.

Employee Engagement and Communication :

  • Contribute to internal communications, such as newsletters and announcements.

HR Operations and Documentation:

  • Maintain employee records and update HR databases as needed.
  • Support administrative tasks such as preparing documents, reports, and presentations.

Compliance and Policy Support:

  • Help ensure HR processes and documents comply with industry standards and legal regulations.
  • Provide support in revising and implementing HR policies.

Special Projects:

  • Collaborate with HR team on pop-up projects, which is any project that lands in the HR department that wasn’t expected.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to be in the office for the duration of the internship.
  • Passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and interest in the architecture/design industry is a plus.
